Mechanical Drafting Technician Program

This program focuses on developing skills in reading and drafting with computer-aided design (CAD). Students will learn to use specialized software for mechanical drafting, machine components, and tool parts. The curriculum includes 3D modeling for design and production, metal and plastic mold drafting, jig and fixture drafting, pneumatic and hydraulic system drafting, standard parts drafting, structural and construction drafting, industrial piping and plumbing system drafting, and presentation drafting. Additionally, students will gain fundamental knowledge of geometric shapes and datums, animation-based design presentation, and CNC programming for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng. or B. Tech.): 4 years in the Faculty of Engineering, offering multiple programs such as Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics and Automated Production Systems Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Material Handling Technology, Metal/Plastic Molding Technology, Transport and Logistics Engineering, and other related fields in mechanical design, product design, and materials science.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Arch., B.Sc., etc.): 4 years in faculties like Architecture, Science and Technology, and other related faculties.
